Description
This is one Online Only ticket for the SPF 2023 Conference. This ticket will give you access to the online content.
For the first time in SPF’s history, our conference will be a wholly hybrid offering for both in-person and virtual attendees. Although SPF are thrilled to be returning to a physical event, after the absence of the past couple of years, we are aware of the benefits of holding on-line events too. Our hybrid conference will allow Pagans across the whole of Scotland, and beyond, to join us. The talks from the Grand Hall will be live-streamed on the day, whilst the talks from the other rooms will be recorded and added to SPF’s website as soon as possible. You will have access to the online content for six months from the date of the conference. This event is suitable for 16+.
We will have Online exclusive content available on for the day. Some of our online exclusive speakers include: Philip Carr-Gomm, Lora O’Brien, Dr Liz Williams and Jean Fowler.
The conference will be on Saturday, 11th November 2023 at The Glasgow Trades Hall, 10am-4:30pm. This venue is fully accessible for attendees with mobility requirements and central to Glasgow with excellent transport links.
SPF will be hosting a vibrant mix of talks, workshops, discussions, rituals, plus a contemplative labyrinth to walk, all under our theme of Returning to our Roots. Our intent is to reconnect, both with one another physically after the constraint of on-line events, as well as with our core Pagan beliefs and practices. Our hope is our event will be of relevance to Pagans of all paths, at every stage of their journey. Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, make connections, and find inspiration, as we head into the winter months.
SPF are delighted to be welcoming our keynote speaker: Cat Treadwell.
Dr Angela Puca will be offering a fantastic talk about misconceptions in Paganism.
Ash William Mills, from Edinburgh’s Museum of Magic, Fortune Telling and Witchcraft, will be discussing the infamous Isobel Gowdie and Scottish Witchcraft.
Annie Begg & Kitty MacIntyre are going to be sharing a talk on Labyrinths.
Reverend Paul Cudby & Alison Eve will offer a seminar on Forest Church and Harp Music.
Avi Lago is running a workshop on The Power of Mantra Shakti.
Joe Parker-Kemp is offering a discussion on Building Community.
Ceci, Helen Woodsford-Dean, and Fiona Stewart will be sharing their experience of Celebrancy.
